Events and Gatherings

On the Sunday morning following our annual High Tea and Garden Party it has become our tradition to hold “Cafe Church”, where we can worship together with hot or cold drinks and leftover food!

Our annual High Tea and Garden Party was again a great success, Thanks to our dedicated team of organisers and cooks, and to the Hospitality students from Emerald State High School who served food and drinks to the crowd. Also thanks to the Emerald Line Dansing ladies who entertained us! Proceeds from the Silent Auction and specific donations (total just over $1000) go to High School Chaplaincy.

Greg also attended ANZAC services at the High School, where he is a Chaplain

Our Easter celebrations are always popular. This year for our Maundy Thursday evening service we celebrated a Passover meal, including the extra words Jesus added concerning his coming death.

Walk Through Bethlehem is an annual event, usually held on a Friday evening early in December. We attempt to re-create some of the things you may have seen in a Bethlehem marketplace at the time of Jesus’ birth. There are fun activities and challenges for the children and we have a sausage sizzle available.
